Ok to update;

I got 70 gallon of warm water in the tank, two heaters runing bringing it up to about 75-78 degrees.

The feeder fish are dying because the cholorine from the tap water is burning their gills (thanks to the local pet store owner) so I think the turtle should be fine.

Does anybody know if turtels can stay in a High PH habitatt?

I got these awesome Rocks.. someone let me kow

Some salt is good for them, but I wouldn't keep the salt water all the time, I have read that some turtles will live in brackish water, which I read meant that it had salt content to it, so I am sure the turtles will be just fine, their eyes might sting for a while though. Very Happy

If you absoulutly have to have the rocks, why don't you try boiling them in water to get some of the salt off. And there's always my favorite toy, the pressure washer. If not they might look neat but they also might have so much salt build up that nothing you do will work. Silly question but you are using water conditioner right ?......
