I was just thinking, while we try to provide the best for our turtles by giving them UV-A and B light, aren't we harming ourselves? UV-B is well known to cause skin cancer, and recently the same has been proven of UV-A. Not to talk of their effect on our eyes. Or is the radiation we get just insignificant? |

You get much more UVa and UVb from the sun than you will ever get from the bulb, so I would not worry too much about it. _________________
