Hey gang,
I lost my older RES this morning aroung two AM after suffering for several hours. I tried to help her but there was nothing I could do, I watched her die Crying or Very sad

I also want to let y'all know that (especially the busy people, who want a little extra time between water changes) Do Not use any chemical that degrades feces in the water because it also degrades your turtle.
I hope I can save a turtle since It was too late for mine. Crying or Very sad

i'm so sorry for ur loss. the vet appointment was too far but anyways she's happy in turtle heavens now

i'm sorry about your lost... i just lost my female razorback just a few days ago... and my boy razorback just doesn't do anything anymore... he just used to be so active....but what can we do now right??

Sorry for your loss. I know how it feels. when my female died, my male RES went on a hunger strike but he came out of it. I think they do notice when their tank companion is no longer there and they show their loneliness. I talked to it more often and played with him more to help him, I think it worked. Either that or he got tired of looking at my big head so he decided to snap out of it. Laughing

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my little guy about a month ago and it was really hard. My thoughts are with you.

I lost my adorable Little Nicky last month and my only consolation is/was that I didn't have to watch him go (I was on vacation)! I am sorry you had to suffer watching your little pet suffer.

She's all better now, and waiting for you across the Rainbow Bridge!

It was harder because I was helpless, There was NOTHING I could do and it was killing me. I didn't even know what was wrong with her so I couldn't try anything.
