| hey guys. what kind of water heaters do you guys use. and does it work? because my water heater just doesn't seem to wanna work. i bought it the first time and it was working that night. it kept it warm but then after that, it seems like it died out. then i went and exchanged it for another one of the same kind and same thing happened. now its not even heating anymore. anyone care to give me suggestions on a good heater that actually works? oh yah. i'm broke so a decent price range would be great as well. thanks! |

I have had one that cost me about 17 dollars, but I only use it during the cold weather, the rest of the time the water stays around 80 deg. Make sure that you have the one with a thermostat at the top to adjust the temp.
I think that whatever brand you are getting probably came out defective, might want to try a different brand.

| I use an Auquatic Garden heater from Petco. It was $15 and has very sturdy glass and tank clamp. I also only use mine in the winter. The heat from the light gives enough heat for the day and the heater at night. |

you know.
i'm using the same one. for some reason, this is the second one i have because i took the first one in to trade for a new one cuz it wasn't working. but now this one doesn't work either. so like i don't know what it is. maybe i just don't know how to use this one. cuz i bought another one from walmart and that one works really really good... its keeping my babies warm while the one i got at petco is the one that's just not working... i think its making my razorback hibernate which i just don't want happening.

| Odd...did it just not turn on or did it say it was on but not heat? Maybe they just had a faulty batch of heaters. |

yah...that's probably what i'm guessing.. probably a big batch cuz the light doesn't turn on....even when it gets to below 70 it still doesn't turn on... so like i dunno...but oh wells...i guess that's what i get for going cheap...
