turtles are curious in nature. they probably tried to eat them and when they found out they couldn't, they decided to take revenge hmm i don't know maybe fix them in a better way or put some rocks as weights _________________ Wed 10/27/2004 is the worst day..i lost my best friend Leo

I have found that if you have curious turtles (which I think include almost all of them) they will find a way to dig up whatever you put in the tank. I have a clay pot in my tank and they will even roll it around, and it is pretty big. If you find a way to keep your decorations where you want them let us know. |

well keep in mind that they don't get so much entertainment in their setups. we push them to ruin the stuff they have _________________ Wed 10/27/2004 is the worst day..i lost my best friend Leo

mine do that too. they love to throw rocks against the tank sides every morning at 7am.
at least i don't have to set my alarm clock to wake up in the morning =p
i don't think there's anything you can do to make them stop, it's just in their nature. maybe take the tank out of your room (if it's in there) and put it somewhere where they're still visible but not in earshot. like a living room. plus, turtles are very beautiful and fun to watch better then tv _________________
