| why are they turning into a light, white color? they were dark/black wen i first bought them are they sick? it's been a week since i last bought them |

Do you dechlorinate the water?, I had a similar problem with some of my feeder fish a while back, they are supposed to be an orangish color but they looked white, I think it may have been because there was too much chlorine in the water, but I can't be sure, I haven't had that problem anymore since I have been using a dechlorinator. _________________

| i changed the water, used bottled water and they turned back to a darker color.. |
