Does a filter really work in tanks?? because i want to get this filter ->

and the man in the pet shop i go to (he has turtles as pets) says that the filters doesnt really cliean the tank and the water still stinks. is this true? what shell i do?? I used a fluval 404 in my 55 gal and now using it my 90 gal. It kicks ass!
and when I bought it from thatpetplace I saved about $90 over any other store.

Your wording it a little off. But If you have it filled with plenty of Activated Carbon or Ammo Carb you should be able to knock out the stink.

Will it even cliean the tank 0f 9 turtles? plus the 304 or 204 is good still to cliean 9 turtles??? Plus is the 404 or 304 a filter inside the water or outside????
