When baby turtles get there outer shell bitin. Does it grow back??? Or it just stays like that?

How exactly did the baby turtle get bitten? To answer your question, the shell will more than likely heal up, now I've seen some wild caught turtles that had parts of their shell that was scared. The shell might not ever grow back too its original shape or thickness, but it will heal enough to protect it. Hope this helps.
