the whole family was out for lunch and when we came back my mom went to check on my babies..she suddenly turned pale so i asked what's wrong.."i don't know how to say it but green's not there"..i was shocked..i quickly got the torch and started looking for her around..no signs for green in there..mint was sitting still on the basking rock and was shocked too..he never moved until he saw me..he came and started swimming crazily so i held him on my palm and he was silent again..he was behaving as if he's telling me that green was gone and he doesn't know what to do..i looked under the tv and saw a small foot in there..i started moving the tv carefully while praying it would be her..there she was!! full of dust and dirt..i took her to the bathtub..she hid in her shell and didn't move but her eyes were open and when i tickle her feet she shrinked more..green knew she did something wrong and deserves to be punished..i'm glad it didn't take long although it seems she was there for a while..

what bothers me most is why would she think of running away?? she's getting everything in there..i mean if i had the chance to live like them i wouldn't mind for sure!! Mad

I am glad you found green, it is natural for a turtle to try to escape, although not alot of turtles do it, it is instinct to them, how did green escape?, I know that mine did it because their basking dock was close to the edge of the tank when I had them in the 10 gallon tank, but since it was in a cabinet, he didn't go far, and I am sure he didn't like where he ended up, so he never did it again, I guess your green will learn the same lesson. i hope she does..she'll be grounded in the bathtub everyday for a week (after she gets some sun cz i don't wanna torture her)..yeah she escaped the same way, the basking rock was too close to the edge although i always move it away to the middle bcz i know she could reach there..could it be that she pushed it?? Surprised
