| Sid eats Reptomin pellets, dried crickets, and dried meal worms daily, and I sometimes give him a treat of turkey. Anyway, I bought a feeder fish to see what he would do with it... and he did nothing. He's not even trying to go after it, even when it was in a bucket with just him and some water. How common is it for turtles to eat fish? Is there a trick to getting them started? |

are they big? turtles are not likely to attack anything bigger than their size..give him some time and he'll rip them apart those are so many treats, u shouldn't worry about feeding him fish _________________ Wed 10/27/2004 is the worst day..i lost my best friend Leo

If you can get some water Hyacinth, they will tear that up. All my turtles love it adults and babies.. _________________ There is nothing more exciting than to see baby Turtles, popping up out of the ground, or to find them wondering across the yard. |
