i'm just curious as to what everyone has to say.

i have an res and two red bellied cooter hatchlings.. well the RBC's are growing pretty fast. however, my littel res isn't growing that much. when i first got my rbc's they were smaller then the res. as a matter of fact, pox, was so tiny i didn't think she was going to make it through the night.. but now she's the biggest, meanest one in the tank lol.

i know there are small differences between species and their growth.. but what's the average rate of growth for an res?

she gets vitamins, sunlight, uvb light (when not outside), lots of food.. the tank is warm etc. the conditions are exactly what they're supposed to be.

she's just still my little sweet potato lol.

she's about.. 2 1/2 months old now and her shell is about 1 inch and 1/2, the other two who i got later are 2 inches, a noticeable difference.

it differs alot, i think females grow faster than males, I got my turtles a little of 6 months ago, my male has grown from 4 inches to 4.25 inches and my female has grown from about 4.3 inches to 5.

Mine are still about the same measurement, they are both about 4 inches, that is another reason I think I have two males. Very Happy
