once and a while i buy crickets in can for my turtle..(as a treat)
my question is how do u kept the left over in the can? i don't want to give too much crickets but i end -up with a can 3/4 full and they say to kept it in the fridge but after a week it's smell funny...
should i kept it in the freezer instead?
and how do u know the amount to give when is a treat??(i know for the pellets but is it the same rule for cricket?) _________________ i'm not a expert,i just try to help.... |

I had the same problem with mealworms, the next day that I was going to give them some mealworms, I found the can all furry, mold had already started forming on the worms.
If you get live crickets it would probably be better, that way you can just keep the crickets in a small cage with a moist napkin, I think they make food for the crickets but I'm not sure. _________________
