IM NOT SURE BUT I THINK MY FEMALE RES TURTLE IS PREGNANT. SHE IS ONLY TO AND SHE ALWAYS DIGGS IN HER TANKSHE DOSENT BASK ANYMORE BUT SHE CONSTANTLY WANTS TO EAT. I USED TO HAVE A MALE RES BUT HE DIED WHEN HE WAS YOUNG. THEY DID THE MATING DANCE MY TURTLE FLICKERED HER CLAWS OR HANDS OR WHATEVER. BUT I NEVER SAW ANYTHING AFTER THAT. I THINK MY FEMALE TURTLE KILLED MY MALE TURTLE BECAUSE SHE ALWAYS USED TO RAM INTO HIM I TRIED LOOKING IT UP BUT I DIDNT FIND ANYTHING I DIDNT KNOW WHAT THE RAMMING WAS ABOUT. BUT IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFORMAITION CAN U PLEASE TELL ME THANX.

She is four inches and three quarters long. She diggs in the corner of her tank where their is no rocks because she dug their. Whenever she diggs a clear space she diggs in another spot. The temperature of the tank is about 76-80 degrees. She also dosent like to bask anymore. She has two big round things on both sides of her tail but they are not connected to her tail they are like what the tail is connected to like her butt or something. i have a 20 gallon tank half filled. An aquaclear 30 filter and a heater. I have a basking platform and a uvb lamp.

You need to provide somewhere for her to lay her eggs if she is pregnant, a glass or aluminum cake pan with either subtrate or sand so she can lay her eggs, I would put her in the pan so she knows it is there, sounds like she is more preoccupied with finding a spot that she probably won\'t think of looking in her basking area.
