Im not sure but I think my female Red Eared Slider turtle is pregnant. She is 2 years old and she is about 4.5inches long. I used to have a male RES but he died about a year ago and i don\'t know how to tell if my turtle is pregnant or not. So can somebody please help me?? _________________ Proud owner of my male RES Slim Shelly, I don't know what I would do without him.

If you read that site you should know that turtles need to lay eggs out of the water, if your turtle lays her eggs in the water and you don\'t notice them within an hour or so, the eggs will more than likely be dead already because of lack of oxygen. _________________
