I have a couple of turtles that are about 9 or 10 months old. I recently moved them to a different tank. Since then, the male will not leave the female alone. He follows her all over and they keep doing the mating dance. I have read that they can not breed until the female is about 5 years and the male about 3. When should I consider providing a place to lay eggs? I need to rethink my long term home for them if they do breed. _________________ Free the West Memphis Three

you dont NEED to raise the eggs but it might be fun. a better way of talking about your turtles is to say their size (shell length) so how big are they? _________________ Tim |
