while ago i told u about \"the pet store\"
its like the only place in oklahoma that is fairly cheapbut the thing is all there turtles are in a 30 gallon tanktheres like 40 turtles though and when i was there i picked my turtle from the very top of a basking pile if u get one from there be careful i noticed that someof the turtles had white fuzzy splotches on them they tried to pick one up and just box it and i was like \"oh im sorry well just go to pets mart she was no no whats wrong? i was like well ithought i could pick my own she looked a lil mad (hahahaha)and i was like dont worry bout it ill go to petsmartshe was like no u can pick one i was lookin for like 10 minutes my mom went around the corner cracking up and the saleslady was like well ill come back when ur ready and just as she started to leave i said excuse me but do those turtles have soft shell? she went ummmm i dunno i was liek arent u the one for this reptile section she was like ya and started to leave i was like ok let me see the one thats piled on top of the others she reached in and i went arent u gonna was ur hands? so she left washed her hands i went dont forget to get ur hands wet b-4 u get him she started to pick him up by the edges of his shell iwas like could u not pick him up like that or do u want me to do it i know how... i went ur suppose to get him under the shell not by the edge so she did it (by then she was lookin .p.o.) she was like is it along trip home or close by cuz ill put him in water if its far away i went its kinda far but i dont wnat u puttin him in a plastic bag u might forget to put air in it (wow i was gonna say her face was red but it was scarlett)i was like i have a lil plastic box in the car w/ water in it she was like FINE handed him to me i went paid for him then i turned around and went oh ya i need some feeder fish sorry she went how many(quite rudely) i said 20-40 she looked terrified i said hmmmmm which one s do i want? so i picked 35 i even made her put back some of the ones i didnt pick then went paid for them turned aorund asked those turtles illegal aint they ? (wow she looked nervous)cuz all the turtle were 3inches & under then i went all well ill be back soon maybey i should bring some freinds huh? yelled bye and left. then my mom was talkin bout how bad i was and the way there tanks were set up was buggin me so i said turn around and she let me out and i ran up to that gurl and asked to talk to the manager (lol nervous again) she got him and i was like hi i just boutght a turtle here and i dunno if uve seen ur turtle tanks and ur turtles but theres quite a few who need to be quarintined and who knows what else he was like thnx for ur concern but r turtles are fine and i went well i know the humane socitys number i could get them to come and check for u he was like no no well take care of it ive been thinkin they need a bigger tank and well take them to a vet soon i went oh thats good ill come back soon to see them cuz i just love turtles

Good for you!that\'s so funny, i think that is great that you did that! i hope your turtle is okay and i hope those people changed they\'re setup!

lol, my mom would kill me if i did that. I dont know if i would have been brave enought to do that anyway. that was a funny story, they wernt even goign to let you pick out your turtle, thats kida rude. well im glad things turned out ok for you and hopefully they change the tanks for the rest of the turtles.

i plan on goin back tommorow i hear dat gurl usually wroks on sunday! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahi want some more turtles Sad

i want 2-3 out door turtles (non aquatic) i want some 2 painted turtles in my my 75 gallon tank i have ares and spiney in my 20 gallon my and tons of there breakfast(feeder fish and shrimp heheheh ) in a 15 gallon so i make sure theres rom

aww i just got a painted turtle but i think i gotta feed it fish it wont eat nutin else.
