All Turtles Message Board

I was in a pet store the other day, and they had these turtles that were about 1 inch and were in fish tanks, no land at all and swam around in very deep water. They werew about 20 dollars. Does anyone know what kind of turtle it was and how do i take care of it. the store i saw it in is 5 hours away, and i want to know more before i buy them,

If the turtles had read on the side of their heads they were probably red eared sliders. They do take a great deal of care and supplies. There are several websites online that can help you out with the care.
