My dog found a little land turtle this afternoon-am not sure if its a box or blanders turtle. This is what it looks like:
Palm Sized.Bottom is yellow ochre color with brown\\black stripes. 3 toenails on hind feet. Light orange spots on hind legs\\feet. Bright orange spots on front feet ,chin face. Ridge on full length of top shell. Top of head is Tan. Reddish looking eyes  Can shut shell completely
(except for middle toes which are quite long.5 toes on front feet. also has black \\white spots on face,neck,chin as well.back is divided into38 \"sections[keels?]\".
Also, is it male or female? |
