It is normal for there to be a bulge depending the position of thier leggs. I have found that the older my turtles get the easier it is to see a little buldge. I feed my turtles twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. Each feeding is about pinch of pellets for two three year old turtles and one two year old turtle. All three turtles have that sort of appearance.
