Got a question fo reveryone here. Do any of you have alge eaters in your tank with your turtles. If you do, do your turtles go after them and try to eat them. I am thinking of getting one for my tank but I would really like to know if turtles eat them or not. Thanks for taking time out for me. _________________ Brandy |

I suppose if you had baby turtles and large algae eaters, this would be ok. But if the turtles can get their jaws around the fish, you might as well kiss it goodbye.
I think the best would be a pleco that gets large or a siamese algae eater if your turtles are still small. Try to get something with lots of armor and small, unnoticable fins. _________________ Take that, Frenchy! |

| Even if you get some thing that is bigger I found my turtles still bit at it enough for me to put it in another tank. The couldn't get at the body but they were taking chucks out of the fins and damaging some scales. |
