I think there should be a link (or something similar) for new users to go to for basic questions that have been asked in the past. Especially some important facts like turtles need a lot of space and care, don't have wild turtles as a pet, turtles don't have to have another turtle for company, and other important things to know.

I have a feeling that if there was a section like that, then a lot of questions could be answered for new users looking for answers quickly. I know some people probably ask a question here and forget to check back to see if it has been answered or not.

Also if this was to be done, it should be in a spot where a new user could easily find it. (example: different color, have it be right at the top of the page, new user gets an e-mail directly to the info, etc.)

What does everyone else think of this idea?

Okay, so I thought about this just within the past few seconds and I guess it kind of has already been done. But I still think that there should be a specific section for frequently asked questions and important information instead of having to go through each section to find the question you're looking for. I've only been on this site for a little while and I already have seen many repeated questions asked with the same answers.

The only people who can make that kind of change are rarely here so I don't think it will happen anytime soon. Very Happy

Kind of like a turtle FAQ? I think it's a great idea! There are some great resources if you're willing to wade through everything but being human, most people just want to have their question answered. Case in point - almost everything I have on here.
