| My turtle Sheldon (now I think it\'s Sheldette) is acting sooo weird. Heshe is up and down off his little basking area and trying to climb out of his cage...usually resulting in him tipping onto his back or backflipping into the water. Then when I let him run around the house he just goes goes and then yesterday he was trying to dig a hole in the carpet with his back legs. Someone HELP!! |

Well first of all do you have him/her with any other turtles/ how do you know if it is pregnant? IF it is try makinf her a place to lay her eggs. If you can\'t make it in the tank get a large shoe box a fill it half way up with sand/soil atleast 4-5 inches and place her in it. Leave her there for a while and see what happens!

It\'s in a cage with 2 other turtles....what is he doing if he\'s digging? he\'s never done it before...how do i tell if he is preg...trial and error?

Just put her in a area were she can lay her eggs and if she doesn\'t then she might be a he or might not be pregnant.By the way what kinda turtle are they?

If you turtle was diggin\" with its back legs then I guess that that is a sign that it\'s a she and she needs to lay her eggs soon!

| my female has something coming out the base of her tail.its dark colored and big.almost like a little stingray.im not sure if shes pregnant or she wants sex?someone give a little info. |
