If I put anything in my turtles tank it will be destroyed in less then a week!!
I found out that using a floating glass thermometer is NOT a good idea They broke it, and what a mess!!!! They are picking at their dock, and the heater cover. I have toys in there for them to play with but they wont even look at those. lol
Shesh!!! lol
I just realized that I have had my little darlings for a year now!! Wow how time flies!! They have grown so much. I'll add new pics soon.
If anyones have any suggestions for what I can put in there that can't be broken or chewed up please let me know!!
All the pet stores in this town suck big time. I have been searching the web for things to buy for them. But, I would like some suggestions on what others use.
Many thanks _________________ I just got 2 RES. On 4-4-07

| Red Eared Sliders are very destructive. They LIKE being destructive. Give them good things to destroy, like food. My red eared slider loves to destroy green grapes. First, she bites them in half. Then she bites the center out of the halves. Then she seizes the remaining "donut" and tears it with her claws. Minutes of destructive amusement. It's always a fine line/balance with the slider: food has to be small enough that they don't get frustrated, and large enough that they get greedy and want it. |
