All Turtles Message Board

i have 2 red ear turtles , one of them is big and the other one is small , they are both healthy and strong, but the small turtle is not growing much, i had them for 8 months already, i have them in a 10 gallon tank and i have a filter for them, they seem very happy, but i am worred that the small turtle is not going to grow, what should do. they both look different one of them is brown and the other is green , i dont know if they are boys or girls, how could u tell, and i would like to know if u think that maybe the turtle is going to stay small or grow over time, please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

a 10 gallon tank is to small for 2 turtles especially ones that will get fairly large as red ear sliders do....

check out www.TurtleSale.com and see what size tanks they suggest. They also have a message board and forum with turtle and tortoise experts that may help you answer any question you can come up with.

Do not go to Turtlesale.com. They are not a very good website to buy from. They deliver dead turtles most of the time. That is not something you want to incorage... do you?
