i have a local pet store thats about a mile away from my house and they sell rosy reds. i usually buy them for my red eared sliders and she seems to like them besides my baby he doesn't like them. he's scared of them hes suppose
to b the man of the house!! ... anyway the older turtle eats them and chases them around the tank SOMETIMES!!!!. anyway my turtle eats them but doesnt bother to chase them really. so is it good for them or not because i want to limit on how much i feed it a month. im guessing 30 a month which is good right? _________________ 2 red eared sliders

Rosey reds are fine, it is the gold fish that you have to stay away from, they have too much fat, still, don't overfeed the turtles, 30 a month sounds ok though. _________________

the pet store i go to feeds goldfish to the turtles. since they do seem fatty i decided to feed them 30 a month. the rosy reds like hiding in the basking rock where the turtle cant catch them. shes 5 inches but the opening is atleast 2 inches wide and thats the size of the head. since i buy them 15 for a dollar i waste 2 dollars a month on food _________________ 2 red eared sliders
