| My turtle laid 3 eggs, I do not have a sandy area in their tank. She just laid the eggs in the water between some plastic plants. Will these eggs hatch in water or do they need to be in sand? I just do not want these eggs to get all rotten in the tank. Should I make a sandy patch and place the eggs in there? |

Well first take them out of the tank and shine a flashlight under it and see if there is a embreeo or anything inside. Do you have a male and female? If you dont then its not fertile and you can toss them or bury them... whatever... _________________ Tara Dakota

There do seem to be something whitish inside - does that mean it's fertilised. Yes I do have a male and female.
thanks for the reply. |
