Hi everyone!
I've been lurking the forum for quite some time now, but finally decided to join. =]
My first and most favorite turtle is my yellow-bellied slider. I've had him for about 13 years. His name is Myrtle. I'm not really sure what sex he is, but I call him a he anyway. (I'll post some pictures up so maybe you guys can help me figure it out!) Myrtle lived alone for 10 years before I decided to get a second turtle. Unfortunately, Myrtle tried to bite his head off so they had to be separated. The second turtle only lasted about three months. =[
About 8 months ago I inherited two RES from a friend whose mom forbid her to keep the turtles; their names are Cow and Chicken. Cow is fat and vicious while Chicken is smaller and always hiding in corners. Fortunately, the three turtles have been able to get along living with each other. Cow and Chicken even enjoy using Myrtle as a basking rock. =]
This past weekend I bought another turtle, a Map one and it's so tiny. I have him separated from the other turtles because I'm afraid they would kill him, even though I ran a test trial =P. His name is Chicho.
