Lucky me. I recently had put into my possession another juvenile painted turtle and a spotted turtle (full grown). I cleaned the juvenile as well as I could then put him in my tank with Duddy (my 1st baby/juvenile painter). I know from experience sometimes turtles don't get along even if they are the same type. My boyfriend had to buy a new tank to seperate his two full grown painters because they kept fighting in their 30 gallon. I noticed Duddy is now chasing/following Diddy (new turtle) everywhere even though Diddy is slightly larger. I noticed theres some green plant growth on his shell that refuses to be scrubbed off. Is it possible Duddy is just trying to get at his new partners shell growth? I haven't seen Duddy bite him but he has gotten into his striking pose toward his shell..

Now Fanny (spotted turtle) is just great, he's friendly and is a active basker. I haven't seen him eat and he hasn't attacked any of the plants of fish in the tank (but I did notice 3/5 of the pellets I put in were missing) I was hoping to put him in the 55 gallon with Duddy prior to me recieving Diddy even though there is a significant size difference. Would it be unwise for me to put Fanny in with the painters since hes about twice as big maybe a lil bigger?
