| I currently have a Map and RES. They are in a 29L tank, but tomorrow I am getting a 55 gallon. I am sooo excited. Right now, we are using a small hood with the UV lights in it and then a clamp light for the heat... The new tank comes with the full hood and stand and I'm not sure how to do the lights. Will I be able to put the UV lights in the hood and the heat light or how do you do that? Do you all take the hood off and use something else? I'd love to use the hood if possible... Thanks for your suggestions! |

| I have one of those long tube lights for the uv and a regular long bulb, seems to work just fine as far as regulating temps and the uv. |

in the reptile section of your pet store, they have the flourescent tube lights with uva and uvb spectrum light. they have all kinds of lengths to fit in most aquariums. just make sure they get enough heat _________________ I love my turtles! |
