So I resuced this turtle out of the middle of the street when a few cars almost ran him over. And he is such a cutie I want to take care of him but I was wondering what kind of turtle he is so that I can make sure that he has everything he needs. Im guessing its a land turtle since i found it in the road. And I do have a five year old, does this kind of turtle bite? Im guessing its a boy..... Thanks in advance for all of your help.

Ok here ya go....its a bow turtle( I think) Definitely a land turtle. However it is best to put her back into the wild. If you want a turtle it is best to adopt/buy from a pet store.
