When I first bought two RES both of them were same size. It has been 1 year since i bought it and now one turtle is bigger than other turtle. Is it normal to grow bigger or is it ok?

You mean, is it ok for the turtle to grow bigger than the size of a silver dollar?, yes, they grow up to 12 to 13 inches and they grow at different rates, females growing bigger than the females. Very Happy

It is hard to tell which is female and which is male until they are about 5 inches long, that is when their nails start growing, if they grow very big that means you have a male if they stay pretty short, that means you have a female, if you have two males and one is shorter than the other one, it probably just means that one is probably getting more food than the other, that is what happened to me, one was a good inch or so bigger than the other but they were both males judging from their nails (think
freddy cruger )

One might be eating alot more than the other. That was one of my problems when I had 10 turtles. Two of mine grew real quick and the rest stayed the quarter size. Dont overfeed them.
