These white things on his shell have worried me, they got my attention before, but then the scute over that part shedded, and it was much more noticeable.
They are soft or smelly though.
Another thing that got my attention for a long time is his almost completely black plastron.
Never seen that before.

| You need to take your turtle to a vet. He may have blood poisining. I have never seen a RES with a black bottom. |

The bottom looks kinda normal to me... turtles are very different...

Oh no! I hope it isn't anything like that!
It's how I got him, he's apparently already 8 to 9 years old, and he's been basically acting healthy so far.
Eats voraciously, swims around like crazy if there is fishies to be had.
Although he has been sleeping irregularly, and not basking much...
I'll have him checked up on once the craziness of my exams subside, unless his behaviour gets weirder...
Lets hope he is just special, and this is just a sign of cross breeding. |
