Hi All,
I have a female, red-eared slider and she is about 6-7" long on her shell. She has been very healthy and has a huge appetite.
Lately she has been sleeping a lot on the bottom of her tank in the middle of the day. I am not very good about keeping my lights on and off for 12 hrs and sometimes the lights are on until midnight (don't get home till late with work and stuff) and I am hoping this is the problem and it is nothing serious.
Any ideas or suggestions?? |

get a timer so they are off and on at the same time each day? The only one of mine that sleeps also during the day is braindamaged, the others are quite lively apart from the odd 5 min nap here and there!!!

brain dammaged?! poor thing!
is 9am-9pm a good time to keep the lights on? I was kind of wondering this because my turtle seems to nap during the day too and it's worrying me...

it shouldnt be a problem she is probably just bored like my turtles are.Mine always sleep till i get home then they have somthing to do usually
