This topic may have already been answered but I did not see it on the forums. I have 2 red eared sliders, they are brothers and have been together since they were born. Up until two weeks ago this has never happened, but one turtle will always bite the back legs of the other turtle and wont leave him alone. I feed them every other day so they are always plenty full and they never fight over food, I know because I watch them. Does anyone know what this means or why he is doing this to him? (territory maybe?)

Thanks for your response

Of all the stories I've read about this kind of thing happening, the only solution seems to be separation. I have not read of any circumstances where the turtles begin getting along again...

That is what we had to do to Tiny and Tim. Tiny was hurting Tim so bad we had to take him out to Murry, a long way from where i am..., We ended up getting rid of Tiny...
