i really want yurtle to have a tank - mate.

yurtles the size of my palm... would it be alright to get a new turtle about the size of my hand?

yurtle is western painted and i might get a red eared

There is always the problem with fighting, I would think it over very hard before getting a second turtle, my turtles were together from the start and they fought almost constantly, usually because one was very insistant on mating with the other even though they are both boys. Very Happy

could it be because they are both boys?

they might be competitive.

i think i have a girl, im not even 100 percent sure. it doesnt matter to me really.

i cant have mating going on though, YIKES! Rolling Eyes
