i don't know if you know this, but goldfish are a very bad idea to keep in a turtle tank. They are very very messy and they are very 'fatty', vey unhealthy for a turtle to eat, if he decides to eat one or two.... or three! _________________ what all turtles think-

I disagree... goldfish in my tank definitely don't add to the mess. They eat up food particles even. They're def. not as messy as the turtle. They shouldn't be the "staple" food of your turtle because of their fattier content, but they're no harm as a snack here and there. Though doing rosy red minnows or the like is usually a bit better. Of course when I stick goldfish/minnows in Tucker's tank, they're gone in a day. =)
From the size of the fish in the above pictures, I would say the fish have become "residents." |

| yes the current goldfish are pretty much living alongside freeman. they are not his main diet, just something to keep him company. reptomin pellets are his main diet. i will definitely try minnows or something next time though. |
