hi,
i am moving house and i need some infamation on how to transport my turtle 40 miles on a motorway. any help will be greatly apreciated.

You should not have a problem. Your turtle can be out of the water for quite some time. Driving 40 miles will not harm the turtle.

Yeah, a box big enough for him to fit in with a damp towel at the bottom to keep the moisture level in the box up a little, although 40 miles is not too much, he should be fine with a dry towel. Very Happy

They are semi aquatic, so they can be on dry ground for an extended period of time if they so choose, or in this case, a necessity.

thank you both for your infomation and just so you know i am not one of these people wh get turtles but know nothing about them, i have had turtles for 8 years, its just i have never had to transport them more than 10 mile before. lol Laughing
