| I currently do have a heater in the tank with my RES's. They are babies now but I have heard of the possibility of them causing damage to the heater, which could cause serious injury to them as they grow. Can anyone give me their ideas to help avoid this? What has everyone done to remedy this situation? |

I have never had a problem with this, but i do have some ideas... you can cover it with plexiglass... put a log on top of it, like, as decoration... were are some... you can try "google"ing it.
