| We just moved our 10 mth turtle to a 65 gallon tank. He has lots of room to swim. We created basking area for him, yet even though he's been in his new tank for over a week, I've yet to see him basking. He seems to be afraid of it. It this normal turtle behavior. Does it take some turtles longer to adjust to new environments? He keeps climbing on his heater instead of the rocks. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. |

| it does take time, but you may just not see times he gets on because he is a turtle and may run off the platform when he sees you, but also you could coax him on if it takes too long. mine follow my finger and when i put my finger on the new platform they climbed right on. |
