Okay, I have 2 red ear slider turtles a male and a female.
Ive had them for a few months now and they've been getting along pretty well. Or i thought they were..
Last night i was laying away watching them and They would get like right in eachothers faces and im not sure if they bite at eachother or what but the male always runs away or goes in his shell afterwards, and the female just keeps going after him.
Are they fighting or is this signs of turtle foreplay of them getting ready to mate?  |

| probably both, bigger turtles will pick on smaller ones, but because of male and female, i am not sure, i have never had that. |
