My husband just brought home this little guy today and I'm delighted but slightly worried as I don't know what kind of turtle it is so I don't know how to care for it properly.
I've been surfing the web looking at pictures trying to identify it but I'm still not sure. I live in Beijing so I can only guess that it's a domestic breed. Some help would be much appreciated! Have a look at the pictures. Thanks!

Thanks. It has just begun to gnaw on the water plants I've placed in its home and not eat the turtle pellets I put in.
I've read that I should expect new pet turtles to not start eating until they adjust to the new environment, and that baby turtles are mainly carnivorous? So confused. haha |

listen that is NOT a yellow belly or a cooter I have a new rescued cooter and I let go a wild yellow belly i rescued so i know
i cant quite remember what type that is but i know it is a very rare type of turtle and possibly worth a lot and yes it is mainly carnivorous so feed it little shrimp along with the pellets and it will eat both unless the pellets are too big yw for the info private message me if you need anymore help i rescue many turtles so i am pretty well aquainted with alot of different turtle species both acuatic and land _________________
glitter-graphics.com |
