| It seems that my turtle has salmonella (RES)and despite my best efforts an cleaning my hands and all surfaces my 6wk old landed in the hospital with it this weekend. This led us to test our turtle who tested positive. I don't know what o do as i don't feel right giving him to someone. Plus he is under 4in (we bought him from a pet store this way. Any advice? |

The only thing that I can think of is to take him back to the petstore, some petstores will take them back. I hope they do. Good luck and sorry to hear about your 6 week old. _________________

| We found someone to take him with no kids. And he's a friend of my stepfather so my kids will be able to visit him still. They were upset over having to give him away. |
