we live in san diego and had to evacuate during the fires. I had just cleaned the tank the day before we evacuated. I put the turt in a washbasin with treated water and we piled in our RV. The turt did very well. We came home the next day and the tank water looked good. I had left the pump on (fluval 3). The turt went back home. By the next day the water was white and milky colored. So .. i did a complete water change again because i wasn't sure if the turt caught something during our evacuation. I cleaned the shell (toothbrush) and the tank and put the turt back in. The next day ... again white smelly water. I don't know what to do . Any suggestions? The water is 1/2 bottled and 1/2 tap (our tap water was not affected and is safe). I treated the tap water and also have biowaste stuff in there ... help!!
