| I've had a RES for about 6 months. Approx 1 month ago, he stopped eating. He is not growing like the other one I got on the same day. I am worried that he will not make it if he doesn't eat something soon. Please help me!! |

I tried soaking his food in the juice from tuna and also tried giving him tuna. Neither worked. He still won't eat. Any other suggestions?
Do you think he may be sick? |

I'm not sure about his age. I bought him in June. He was and still is about the size of a quarter. Maybe a little bigger. I did feed him in the water when he was eating. I still put his food in the water but he just doesn't eat it. How long can he go without food? |

| Yes, I drop it right in front of him. He stays out of the water most of the time. The other one that I have, if he doesn't see the food he will follow your finger to it. But this one doesn't really move or anything when we put the food in. When we got him, he was very active and ate everything we gave him. |

| If res are too cold, they won't eat. I have a basking lamp for dry land and then keep the water at about 77 degrees. |
