| My turtle is a male MAP turtle I think. I inherited him when I moved into this house with a indoor pond and in the same room a indoor pool...I live in the northeast. For the past couple of months my turtle has fiqured out how to climb out of the pond and he jumps into the chlorinated pool. . I think he may be looking to hibernate somewhere. I have a basking light and platform in the pond that he shares with 6 koi fish. He is still eating well and basks a lot. At first he just made his big escape maybe once or twice a month. I didn't think it was a problem I would just scoop him out and deposit him back into the pond. Lately he has been getting out more often..Today alone 4 times...WHATS UP WITH THAT!!! I don't know much about turtles and want him to be happy and healthy any help would be greatly appreciated... |
