My husband and I just recently after a big storm here found a very tiny baby turtle out in our yard. He seems to be very very young judging from the size. He is only about the size of a quarter. He had a small yellow stripe right down the center of his shell and is kinda green and yellow patchy coloring on the underside of his shell ( his belly). What kind of turtle is he? Any info on him on what kind he is or any tips on caring for him would be very much appreciated. We just want to make sure he's ok. Another thing is that he hasn't eaten yet. I know it takes them some time to get used to everything and destress enough to eat but I'm more concerned about him not eating yet because of how small he is. I have given him moistened turtle pellets and have tried the suggestion of others about trying some tuna or tuna juice soaked pellets. Any other suggestions would be appreciated as well. ok, well firstly, if his feet are webbed, he is aquatic, so he probably can;t swallow without water., so if you could atleast get a bucket to start, ut him in there, if he has webbed feet. also, its help if you posed a pic.

from how it sounds if he has webbed feet he is probably one of many types of cooter and if he doesnt have webbed feet possibly a type of painted or mexican musk
