| I have a couple month old snapper in an aquarium. I have an internal filter. The water level is about 3-4 inches. Whenever I feed him, with in a half hour all the food gets sucked into the bottom of the filter. I dont think he is getting a chance to eat it, plus it clogs filter fast. Any suggestions? |

NOW I know this is going to sound like a pain in teh butt, but if you dont want to get a new filter, then fill a tupperware bowl up and stik the turtles in there to feed them, when its feeding time! |

| im saying you put one pellet in, it goes straight to the filter. he doesnt seem like he will be jumping up to catch it as soon as it hits the water. but i have started feeding him in another tank. that seems to work much better |

| Definitely feed your turtle in a separate container. I use a designated bucket. Your tank will be so much cleaner!!! |
