I have a 3500 gallon pond with 7 large RES and 1 Pink Belly. The pond is approximately 12' x 15' and about 2/12 feet deep in the middle.
I want to get more turtles, but I don't know if I am overpopulating my pond. I do have one name Idiot that keeps fighting with the ladies.
I would like to add other turtles but don't know if they will all get along.
Prior to my small fence, Scooter my eldest, walked over after a rainstorm and went swimming in my neibors pool.
I just don't want to over populate my pond. Can anyone give me some advice? |

KX125Rider,
Thank you for the specific information. Now I will be able to calculate the amount of turtles my pond will hold.
And yes, I do have one male turtle (Idiot) that fights with my largest female (Scooter) not all the time. But he can be really annoying, but usually only with her. I have other females, but he doesn't bother them. _________________ ucmary |
