hayy plz help me!!!! he sleeps under water and no oxygen!??!! i keep putting him on the platform and he keeps going right back into the water...
plz help me i just got him today and he is so kool!! i akready got another turlte and it is a land turtle and he has no problems right now!!
plz oh plz help me ... he might die.. this is a life and death momment....plz hury! |

| he is ummmm h/o he is 6 inches long including he head out his shell is like 4 or more i dont know how to get a pic on here... |

he should b fine usually bigger turtles like the bottom of the tank more... sacure feeling i guess but it deepends on the personality. because i have two reses and they have diff sleeping spots one likes the ramp and the other likes the bottom of the tank. _________________ Tara Dakota

I have the same problem, when I put him in the land he jumps into the water. He never use it´s land . |

| turtles can sleep underwater....they can hibernate underwater for 5 months, so im sure they can sleep there too |

my turtles always sleep under water. you cant force them to get onto their land area. when you pick them up and move them they probably get scared. if you have the right uvb light and heat light they will come up on their land whenever they want to. _________________ http://punkflash54.blujay.com |

| My turtle sleeps underwater. I have a rubber mat covering the ramp to her basking rocks. At night she noses under the mat so she is tucked in nicely. As it's getting dark she has her nose above water peeking out of the edge of the mat but once the sun is down she retreats completely under the mat... her turtle blanket. |
