hi ive had this turtle for quit a while and all he seems to eat is greens. but today he ate some carrots so... i guess he eats greens and oranges. HaHa! any more food suguestions? he also ate some mango if that helps.

Where are you located and how did you get a Gopher tortoise?
Many land turtles prefer veggies. They may eat an occasional grub but not often. Make sure you offer a good variety. Squashes, romaine lettuce, kale, chard. They also like some fruit (strawberries, blueberries, melons and bananas) as a treat sometimes.

im in pa and my dad found him.
what he eats right know is carrots ,lettuce ,azallia plant and this unknown stuff if u can identifie it...
and he eats this stuff once in a while...
